Our Ministries

Worship In The Woods

Worship in the Woods is typically held on the first Saturday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Outdoor Sanctuary located in the wooded area at the rear of our property. Please check the calendar for scheduling.

Worship in the Woods provides a means to hold services, including Holy Eucharist, in the outdoors where we can truly appreciate the wonder and spectacle of God's creation.

Each year, on or about St. Francis of Assisi Day, Holy Cross conducts a community-wide Blessing of the Pets service. Holy Cross has had a wide variety of pets visit our property, ranging from dogs, cats, and horses to iguanas, snakes and hamsters, among others.

Once a year Holy Cross offers Camp HCOB. It is a weekend retreat at the church for the youth of the church and the community. The children, along with parents and church leaders, camp overnight on the church grounds. Day activities vary each year but they always foster a sense of community and growth in worship.
