Father Walker served as Vicar of the Mission of Holy Cross from December 24, 1989 to June 30, 2006. While now retired, he continues to serve as a Supply Priest or Interim Rector/Vicar in both the Diocese of Mississippi as well as the Diocese of West Tennessee, as called upon.
While in attendance at Holy Cross, Father Walker truly enjoys singing with the choir and serves as a role model and inspiration to each member of the congregation. Additionally Father Walker enjoys serving as an Education for Ministry (EfM) mentor, when his schedule permits. A little known fact about Father Walker: He is fluent in Spanish, having grown up in Miami, Florida.
It is both an honor and a privilege to have Father Walker amongst us; his absence is greatly felt when he is serving as an interim Rector or as a Supply Priest for other congregations.
